Founder & Director

Tommie Bennett

Tommie Bennett, founder and Head Coach of Premier Snow Academy has an extensive background as a competitive snowboarder and elite snowboard coach. Tommie is dedicated to the progression of his students in the classroom, on the hill, and as a person. 

Tommie is known as one of the most passionate snowboard coaches in the industry, but what sets him apart is his ability to break down and explain complicated tricks – most of which he has done before. 

Tommie’s love for snowboarding started as a competitive freestyle snowboarder until an injury halted this pathway and opened up a new one. The unexpected shift from athlete to coach turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it brought new opportunities to mentor a range of snowboarders, including Olympic hopefuls competing at major events such as Grand Prix, World Cup, Junior World Championships, and many more. 

Over the past ten years, Coach Tommie has traveled to Turkey, the Czech Republic, the Southern Hemisphere and throughout North America creating unforgettable experiences for many young athletes.

With educational credentials just as impressive as his own athletic accomplishments, Tommie has over a dozen snowboard certifications and over 1000 days of coaching. He is a coach and educator who has taken his plethora of experience to create a program that encompasses all aspects of sport and life.
